In 1999 we embarked on extensive and sympathetic restoration of the main house at Les Caches. As much of the original fabric of the building was preserved. Les Caches is a prime example of commitment to teaching and learning restoration skills.

After some time of being closed for essential repair, Les Caches is now open for tours, during the season of 2017. Regular opening dates and times are being considered and are dependent upon volunteer availability.
Should you wish to book a group visit, please be in touch with our Curator, Christian Morris – contact details below.
If you are passing and the site is closed, please feel free to enjoy the setting of the mid 19th Century farmhouse and buildings. The site is en route to some spectacular cliff path walks and National Trust land areas at Le Bigard and Le Gouffre.
